Mother Exchanged her 2-Month-Old baby For N200,000, Rice and Cement
Mother exchanged her 2-Month-Old baby for N200,000, Rice and Cement. Chioma Fidelis, a 20-year-old lady was apprehended along with her accomplice over a case of exchanging of her baby for Two Hundred Thousand Naira, a bag of Rice and Cement.
In an interview with newsmen, today 14th July, 2017, Chioma, revealed how she got into the family way out of wedlock and due to inability to provide for the minor, she resorted to batter him for the aforementioned items.
Chioma, gave reasons for her action and according to her she said;
“I had no option but to accept the offer because my baby was suffering from kwashiorkor, and because I have no husband to take care of me and the child”.
Ukridosblog, learnt that her accomplice, Chidimma Unakalamba, confessed that the baby was sold to a couple, one Mr. And Mrs. Jonas Anyanwu, who were so desperate to have a male child.
According to her, she said the baby was given away at Six Hundred Thousand Naira to the couple but after recovering the baby, the couple claimed they paid Seven Hundred Thousand Naira to the mother to have the child.
After the truth was exposed, Unakalamba had to admit that she deducted N137, 000 for the baby’s medical bills, gave his mother N200,000 and work away with the balance.
