IGP Idris Has Surprised Family Of Policeman Killed By IPOB in Ariaria. The recent attack by IPOB members on Ariaria International Market Police division in Aba, which took the life of a police officer ASP Cyril Nwosu, has attracted the attention of the Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris.

 

Idris, who paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased, declared a posthumous promotion to the late ASP. The IG, said he will see to it that the wife of the deceased who is an inspector will be promoted to a higher rank.

The IG , also announced a police scholarship to their only son as part of compensating the family.
