UK Gov Seeks Clarification From Nigeria Regarding Nnamdi Kanu’s Whereabouts.The British government took a measure in regards to the missing IPOB leader since his house was attacked by officers of Nigerian Army.

In an interview with Punch,  the Press Officer at British High Commission in Nigeria, Joe Abuku,  revealed that an enquiry was sent to know If one of their citizen Nnamdi Kanu was still alive or dead.

In his statement, Abuku said;

“We are seeking urgent clarification from the Nigerian authorities about the status and whereabouts of Mr. Kanu, a British-Nigerian man, who has been reported missing since September 14th.”

While responding to a question regarding if the British government will disown Nnamdi Kanu as it citizen because of his link to terrorism, Abuku said;

“One of the conditions that can make the United Kingdom strip its citizen of nationality is if the person engages in a terrorist activity at home or abroad. And Kanu has dual citizenship and therefore a citizen of Nigeria and the UK.

“The Indigenous People of Biafra is not a proscribed organization in the UK.”
