Five Killed, Many Injured as Soldiers Invade Nnamdi Kanu’s Home. Ukrido, gathered that a group of soldiers from the Nigerian army stormed the recident of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu om Sunday.

The incident happen few hours after the Nigerian Army had announced the beginning of their second phase of Operation Python Dance II in the South-Eastern states.

 

According to DAILY POST, the soldiers on arriving the recident of the IPOB leader with an armoured vehicle, were prevented from entering the compound.

Most of the IPOB members were shot dead during the process.

One Emma Powerful, the spokesman for IPOB, revealed that close to five youthstar were killed and about 30 of them were injured.

In his statement, Emma said;

“The Hausa Fulani soldiers and Police Nigerian uniforms came to kill our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his compound at Afaraukwu Umuahia and started shooting sporadically and killed five people and up to thirty people with bullets wounds, after attacking our people they went off, they came with 5 hilux vans.”
