Lukaku to Play Until Ibrahimovic is Fit-Mourinho
Lukaku to Play Until Ibrahimovic is Fit-Mourinho. Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho has informed Romelu Lukaku he will not let him rest until Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns from injury.
It is expected that Romelu Lukaku will participate in his twelve matches this season both for Manchester United and Belgium. He is also expected to play against Crystal Palace.
Lukaku will also join his country’s teammates in Belgium during the forthcoming International break.
There are fears that with such commitment, Lukaku may encounter same situation that will be keeping Pogba away for a long-term due to hamstring injury.
According to Express sports, Jose Mourinho said;
“Without Zlatan, we cannot rotate the striker, especially because Rashford is playing also in other positions,”
“So until the moment we have Zlatan we cannot think about giving rest to our No9 in the same way we give rest in other positions.”
The Manchester United Boss also said he will not advice Belgium Boss to give Lukaku.
“Belgium is Roberto’s responsibility and it’s his decision to play him or not to play him,” Mourinho said.
“I cannot, professionally speaking, say do this or do that.”
