Man Jumps into the Ocean to Escape Arrest over Drugs. Ukridosblog, learnt that a 20-year-old man from North Caroline attempted to escape arrest, unknowingly to him, he jumped into a shark infested part of the ocean just to escape from the police.
According to Surf City police official, the escapee known as Zachary Kingsbury, was instructed to pull over, while searching his vehicle, the police got to notice a suspicious contraband on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Reports from the police said that when he was asked to step out off the vehicle so to explain himself, Kingsbury, stepped out and fled to the beach where he dived into the ocean to swim offshore.
The arrest suddenly turned to a rescue mission when the authorities noticed that Kingsbury, had swam beyond one mile offshore, so they decided to launch a drone to track Kingsbury.
When the drone moved towards Kingsbury, it was discovered that a shark was almost 25 feet away trailing Kingsbury.
After the whole drama, three hours later, the police were able to trap Kingsbury around 7.45pm on Wednesday, at the Wicker Avenue beach access in North Topsail Beach.
