General Buratai Attended The Closing Ceremony Of Operation Crocodile Smile 2 In Port Harcourt. The Nigerian Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen TY Buratai, has joined other members of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt to round up the Operation Crocodile Smile 2.

Speaking at the event on Monday 30th, October 2017, General Buratai, said that the army belongs to the Nigerian people.

General Buratai, said;

“The Nigerian Army is indeed the only professional Army belonging to the Nigerian people and will never do anything to harm law abiding citizens of this great nation.”

In addition to that, Brig Gen Bassey Adonkie, who is the 35 artillery brigade commander, said that the Operation Crocodile Smile 2 was aimed at flushing out pipeline vandals, kidnappers and miscreants.

Mr. Bassey, also disclosed that about 399 people have been arrested for various offences during the Exercise Crocodile Smile 2 in Lagos and Ogun states.
