Fayose Met His Rival El-Rufai At The Burial Of Comfort Modupe Adetunmbi and This Happen. Governor Fayose of Ekiti state, who had a little feud with Governor El-Rufai over a decision by Kaduna state government to sack teachers, finally met at the burial ceremony of Mam Comfort Modupe Adetunmbi, mother of Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi.

While meeting at the burial ceremony, the Ekiti state governor Fayose, was seen sitting beside El-Rufai, discussing and laughing together.

This is coming barely few weeks after governor Fayose had attacked El-Rufai, condemning his decision to sack over 21,000 teachers in Kaduna.

Governor Fayose who took to his Twitter handle to write; ‘It is not the state government’s right to set a test for teachers but that of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)’.

Governor El-Rufai, in his response wrote on his Twitter;

“Your Excellency Sir, We are not sacking teachers in Kaduna. Rather we are replacing unqualified people who are unfit to be called teachers to save the future of the next generation”.
