BIAFRA-Afaraukwu Monarchs Ask FG to Produce Nnamdi Kanu’s Parents. The whereabouts of the parents of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, has been of great concern to Afaraukwu Monarchs.

On this Note, all the Monarchs from the three communities in Afaraukwu, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, have come out to accuse the army of being responsible for the disappearance Nnamdi Kanu’s parents.

Following a petition sign by the General President of Okwulaga, Enyiukwu and Isiamaautonomous communities, the traditional rulers charged President Muhammadu Buhari to look into the incident that took place on September 14, 2017 at the palace of HRH Eze Israel Kanu, where the Nigerian Armies  invaded in search of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.

According to reports,the three rulers – Levi Ogbonna, Cletus Uwaechi and Chief Ikechukwu Ndubueze, have urged the president to set up a panel of enquiry to determine what role the army’s invasion played in the disappearance of HRH Kanu.

In their petition, they said;

 “That since September 14, 2017 the whereabouts of one of our traditional ruler, HRH Eze I. O. Kanu, and members of his family, including some members of Isiama Afaraukwu community, are still unknown.”
