Destructive and Powerful storms sweep across South, leaving at least 2 dead in Texas, 5 dead in Mississippi

All is nut well across the South as great and destructive storms have taken over the South, leaving 7 people dead in Texas and Mississipi. The incident reportedly occurred between the late hours of Saturday and the early hours of Sunday.

The report has it that the powerful storms caused a lot of damages to buildings, shorting down power and falling trees  as well.

The station reports that most of the state were under strong surveillance till 5 in the morning today, Sunday.

One Alex Sosnowski, a Senior Meteorologist in AccuWeather, said;

“All facets of severe weather are anticipated this weekend, ranging from damaging wind gusts and large hail to frequent lightning strikes, flash flooding and tornadoes.”

There have been a complete blackout in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas in the late hours of Saturday. A report from The National Weather Service, has it that the storm was expected to move from the Ohio Valley to the Southeast.
