R. Kelly’s Daughter Reveals He Stopped Paying for College

Popular RnB music singer, R. Kelly, seems to be facing more financial challenges as his daughter Joann Lee, aka Buku Abi, comes out to reveal that her dad, Kelly, had stopped paying her fees in college and that was why she was thrown out of college.

According to TMZ, the young lady was attending a California art school till last fall when she tried signing up for classes for the next semester but was denied because of fees.

R. Kelly had a child support agreement to sponsor Joann’s tuition and education expenses until she turns 23. Not only did he stopped paying her fees at school, we learnt that he also opted out from paying for her apartment while she was still in school.

In reaction to this allegation, R. Kelly’s Crisis Manager, Darrell Johnson, told TMZ, that Kelly’s requirement to pay for her education is predicated on him receiving billing statements and proof of expenses … and he claims he never got them.

It was reported that the singer had actually believed that her daughter Joann, had dropped from school and that was why he was no more seeing the bills from school.

His manager, added that Drea never presented any documentation to proof that Joann got kicked out of school either.

Ukrido, learnt that Kelly’s daughter, Joann, is desperate to returned to school  and will also be seeking for financial support from her father.

We learnt that Kelly, just paid up the back child support he was indebted to Drea, this week so to avert possible going to jail, but even at that, the singer was told that he is still indebted with the sum of $32,000 interest. We learnt that he is currently owing just $20,000 per month to Drea in support.

R. Kelly and Joann, haven’t been in a good relationship, remember back in January, Joann, had described the father to be a monster following the release of the “Surviving R. Kelly“.
