IPOB Dares Federal Government To Re-arrest Leader Nnamdi Kanu
IPOB Dares Federal Government To Re-arrest Leader Nnamdi Kanu. The group is challenging Federal Government over it appeal by the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, who asked the court to revoke the bail term granted to Nnamdi Kanu and the Minister also advocated for the re-arrest and detention of the Leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu.
In response to the position of the Minister of Justice, IPOB vowed that a lot of tragic events will happen in Nigeria should the Federal Government make any attempt to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu.
The group said;
“IPOB is not doing anything about the order of [the Federal Government] through the Attorney General to revoke [a] court order and arrest Nnamdi Kanu again. We are just watching and waiting to see what is going to happen and how it will happen.
The group further said;
“Think about what his re-arrest would cause in Nigeria. The FG is just playing politics. They cannot arrest Nnamdi Kanu. This is not the first time they would be calling for his re-arrest. Nevertheless, a lot of people have written articles stating the tragic that will happen if he is rearrested.”
According to Sahara Reporters, the group reiterated that all Igbo living in Northern part of Nigeria should return back to Biafra land where they belong.
