Nigeria Becomes First African Country to Qualify For 2018 World Cup in Russia. The Super Eagles of Nigeria have done the country proud as they have broken the record of becoming the first African country to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Super Eagles were able to floor Zambia 1-0 today in Godswill Akpabio’s stadium,   Uyo.

After struggling goalless with the Zambian side in first half, Alex Iwobi, came from the bench in second half to score a fantastic one goal which was able to secure a place for the Super Eagles in Russia come 2018.

The Super Eagles with 13 point, came out first in group D while Zambia maintain the second position with 7 point, Cameroon with 6 point holds the third position and Algeria, with just 1 point.
