Presidency reacts to 2 face planned protest this February. The protest according to 2 face will take place  on the 6th of February, 2017.

The Presidency in response to the planned protect, said those behind the nationwide protest against the current government of President Muhammadu Buhari are the ones still in pain over the outcome of 2015 Presidential Election.

Innocent Idibia in his quest for good governance has planned to carry out the nationwide protest along with his colleagues in the industry so to agitate the current recession and the hardships it came with under the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Presidency Reacts to 2 face Planned Protest this February through it Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina,  who spoke on the planned nationwide protest by 2 Face and his colleagues.

According to Mr. Adesina:

“This is a country of about 180 million people. It is impossible for 180 million people to think the same way. Yoruba has a saying that is you all sleep and put your head in the same direction, then you are all foolish because you would be breathing in one another’s mouth and lungs.

“Don’t forget the last election and how it went. Somebody scored 12.5 million votes, another scored about 15 million votes. There are some people who are still in that election mode. They have not gotten out of it and till today, they are still living and ‘rheumatisizing’ about the past.

“What they don’t know is that that past is gone and gone forever. Majority of those calling for the protest are still in election mode. Majority of them are people that have resolved not to see anything good in this administration simply because the man they wanted lost at the polls.”

From the look of things, it’s likely the planned nationwide protest by 2 face will stand as a threat to the led government of President Muhammadu Buhari and since the Presidency are not in support of it, the protest may not go down well with 2 face.

Information has it that the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Fayose has declared his interest to support 2 face in his nationwide protest.

Fellow Ukrido readers, from your point of view,  do you think 2 Face will be able to carry out a peaceful protest without any interference from the DSS or Police?

What does Femi Adesina mean by not ‘go down well’? Well, they can go ahead and invite the DSS, Army or whoever they chose! Let him be reminded that protest is our democratic right!
Further, I’d also like to remind him that 2Face was a supporter of Buhari in the past until he realised that all that ‘glitters is not gold’, hence his present disposition.
Be informed that we shall come out enmass, we shall demonstrate our fundamental rights howbeit, peacefully, and nothing shall stop us until we see the change we desire!!!

Now that 2face has realised this government has nothing to offer, how far does he think his protest will go so to correct those lapses in the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari?

Do you think Mr. President will listen to him?
