Police Escorts To Davido Detained For Reckless Shooting. Ukridosblog, learnt that the two police officers attached to Davido were seen shooting recklessly inside a moving vehicle on the street.

The video of the shooting which went viral on social media attracted the attention of the Nigeria Police Force, who picked up the matter and decided to detain the two police officers.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Head of Public Complaints Rapid Response Unit (PCRRU), ACP Abayomi Shogunle, revealed that the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Police Mobile Force at the Force Headquarters, go an order from the Inspector-General of Police to detain the two officers.

Shogunle revealed that Davido, engaged the two police officers in providing escort for him to his house while returning from oversea trip.

According to Shogunle;

“Along the way, as seen in the video which has been confirmed from investigation, the two policemen involved started shooting into the air for no just cause.

“Punishment has been recommended.We are only waiting for the appropriate police authority to review the punishment.”
