Dino Melaye in Trouble as Court Fails to Grant his Request to Stop Recall. The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has disappointed Senator Dino Melaye as it has failed to grant the application filed by the Senator seeking the withdrawal of his Recall by the people of Kogi State.

The court in it ruling, which was presided over by Mr. Dimgba, said;

“Contrary to the arguments of Mr. Melaye that he was not granted fair hearing, the constitution does not require a special provision that mandates INEC to grant the senator an opportunity of fair hearing.”

According to Premium Time, the court hereby rule that INEC, should go-ahead in providing Mr. Melaye with the recall petition, schedule of signatures attached to the petitions and a full list of persons in support of the recall process, within two weeks before an amended time table for the recall would be made.
