New US Military Tech Changes Round Wheels Into Triangular Tracks In Just Two Seconds. A new technology where motor wheels can be changed from circular to triangular tracks has been introduced by DARPA and Carnegie Mellon University’s National Robotics Engineering Center.
The new technology call Reconfigurable Wheel-Track (RWT), was introduced so to enable the US military vehicles operate safer and tougher along slopes and elevations.
According to reports online, the DARPA (The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency ) is an agency of the United States Department of Defense who are responsible for the development of emerging technologies use by the US military. They developed the (RWT) hubs and wheels to a Humvee SUV.
