Senator Akpabio Conducts Aptitude test for bursary and scholarship in his Constituency. As it has always been his culture to empower and develop people and the environment he rules, the minority leader saw to it that his tenure as a senator representing Akwa Ibom North, will be of good impact to his people.

Unlike others who use and dump the youths after campaign, the minority leader of the Nigeria senate has chosen to show appreciation back home by organising such opportunity for his people.

After the test, the minority leader took to his Facebook page to write this;

“An aptitude test was conducted today for candidates across the 10 local government areas of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial to select beneficiaries of my bursary/scholarship program.
“For the bursary award two candidates presently studying in tertiary institutions were selected from the 106 wards across the Senatorial District.

“20 Finalists from the 10 local government areas also emerged after the aptitude test as awardees of my scholarship program.

“The selection process was very transparent as the candidates marked each other’s script after the test and the result was announced instantly.

“I congratulate the beneficiaries of the bursary and scholarship awards as we count down to July 6, the day I shall report progress and render account of my two-year stewardship at the Senate through the Constituency Briefing and Empowerment Program at Ikot Ekpene Township stadium.”
