Adam West who acted Batman dies at 88. Ukridosblog, confirmed that the actor died of Leukaemia.

Adam West was popularly known in the 1960s television series call Batman. He will be remembered by many for his exaggerated portrayal of the superhero in ABC show, which was aired from 1966 to 1968.

The super actor once revealed why he played Batman, in his statement, he said;
“I played Batman for laughs, but in order to do [that], one had to never think it was funny. You just had to pull on that cowl and believe that no one would recognise you.”

In a statement by one of his family member;

“Our dad always saw himself as the Bright Knight and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was and always will be our hero.”
